At the event, Scott Beaumont, President of Google Asia Pacific (APAC), handed the first Chromebook to PM Shehbaz, symbolizing the beginning of this massive Chromebooks manufacturing in Pakistan initiative. Beaumont enhanced the project designed with Google’s goal of enhancing local economies through technology and empowering Pakistan’s youth.

The prime minister also shared the government’s ambitious goal of achieving $25 billion in IT exports within the next five years.
